In chapter 6, I learned about the ASSURE model. The ASSURE model developed by Heinich, Molenda, Russell, and Smaldina is a procedural guide for planning and delivering instruction that integrates technologies and media into the teaching process. The ASSURE model is a well-known guide for developing any instructional lessons. There are several steps of the ASSURE model: analyze the learner, state objectives, select methods, media, and materials, utilize methods, media, and ,materials, require learner participation, and evaluate and revise.

The skill I learned this week was how to put a power point together. I kinda of already knew how but when I had a question I put it into the search and worked my way through it to figure out the answer. By searching it in the search engine in Power Point it helps me to better find the information and know where to go the next time.

Since I'm writing this blog now, I'm going to talk about what I did that week that we were suppose to write this blog. Thursday of that week I went to Lake City to visit my uncle and meet my boyfriends parents so that we could drive to Atlanta. That night was horrible because the Seminoles lost to Wake Forest in a horrible game. But the weekend was much better. I went to Norwood, GA for a wedding. The weather was beautiful, the ceremony was amazing and I had such a great time. It was soooo nice to just get out of Tallahassee even for only a weekend. The Packers improved to 5-1 this weekend. GO PACK GO!!
